PROJECT THZ
Development predictive models the quality of food based on technology images THz..
The project aims at the use of radiation in the frequency band Teraherzios for the non-invasive analysis of agro-industrial products. This radiation, which is not dangerous, it can help us to predict the composition, state of maturity, there is structural damage, among others.
Through this project, it seeks to generate predictive models that let us know by using a “picture” of a component of interest of the product. For example, you can determine the amount of cocoa in a chocolate, without being destroyed and then can be consumed.
For this project included a spectrometer frequency band Teraherzios and two Workstation for processing large amounts of data.
